Not sure what you are referring to in this article, but Jesus did indeed say that. Check Matthew 19:4-5 where he is quoting and pointing us back to Genesis 1 and 2.

That is simply untrue. Trust me, I know firsthand.

Yes, everyone who supports LGBT equality would like, ideally, for this “debate” to be as “settled” as possible. We would love to live our lives rather than fight for them. But with this project, the sole “ask” is for media types to simply use the commentators’ own words when said commentator appears in the media. We want media bookers to question the way LGBT punditry is handled versus other debates.

Other groups are calling for certain figures to be explicitly banned. GLAAD is not, not with this project. Again: few people know that facts of this project better than I do.

So it’s okay to take prayer out of school, and talking about taking off “in God we trust” on the back of the dollar bill, but when it comes to gay marriage everybody wants to call on God? Seriously? You take him out of EVERYTHING because why? Because it offends people other religions. So what is so different about same sex marriage? It’s not going to make the world stop spinning. Guess what? The states that allow same sex marriage are still thriving! Shocking isn’t it? And doesn’t it say in the constitution to keep state and church separate? So once again, stop bringing religion into it. If you really cared that much about God then prayer would be allowed in school. And so when did the gay community start taking over other communities and taking over churches? Really? Name one church that has been taken over by gay people! Don’t worry I’ll wait… So 30 years from now is everybody going to come to their senses and realize that this is the whole segregation thing all over again? But instead of it being black and whites this time its heterosexuals and homosexuals? Stop trying to use Christianity as a cover up for your own self insecurities. The families that they did the research on are from POLITICAL backgrounds so of course everything is going to be amplified. I know PLENTY of kids that come from same sex marriages that have normal relationships (and by normal I mean to society’s standards) that do not question their sexuality, that are not molested (shocking? Just because someone is gay doesn’t make them a child molester), and are doing very well in school and able to adjust to diversity because they understand that there are people that are different from them in the world. The United States needs to grow up and put on its big boy pants and realize that we are NOT a communist country and people are going to live their lives the way they want. If we didn’t get in everybody’s damn business in the first place we wouldn’t be at war right now!

Dear Private Citizen – I notice a couple things in your comment. First, you’re the one using the very pejorative language that you accuse Glenn and other Focus spokespeople of using. Ironic. Second, of course GLAAD wants to prevent the people on their “list” from speaking. Let’s be real here. Do you think “accountability” means anything else?

Where exactly in that article does it say anything about GLAAD wanting to “silence” anyone? When has GLAAD said anything about wanting to prevent people — however objectively false, socially harmful, or hatefully ignorant their beliefs may be — from speaking their minds in public or even on an independently-owned, private platform?

They want to hold Focus on the Family and other organizations that push bigotry and beliefs in nonsense held accountable for the things they say that are blatantly false (like the notion that gay parents are harmful to children when they are, according to every piece of academic literature in psychology on this subject, statistically much more helpful and more loving parents than heterosexual parents, on average). They’re not calling for people to be silenced.

Hi I don’t what we need to do as a nation, but I do know what we need to do as a Christian community. We need to drop to our knees and ask God to forgive us for the sins that have come upon this nation and it’s people, and step up and take back our communities and our church’s.
If we don’t do this God will judge.

its not related to a rat. its like saying nutrias have a cute beaver face, therefore they really just smallish beavers. Now I am not a crazed animal right activist. I really don’t like nutrias they defecate all over my property and I pick em off when I can there pelt is kind of soft and there meat is tasty.
