There has been a good bit of news over the past year or so on how young adults are favoring same-sex marriage at higher rates than older generations. Here is just one example.
The assumption is that wide-spread, if not universal, legalization of same-sex marriage is inevitable given these numbers; simply a game of waiting out the clock.
“Let the foggies get out of the way and we will get this done,” the same-sex marriage advocates – assisted by a complicit mainstream media and elite culture – seem to be saying.
But there are reasons for sobriety and some doubt on this equation. My thoughts on this are found in a new, brief report – Millenials and SSM Conviction – drawing together a number of other factors that have been missing in this debate.
